The Oz Run is a unique, fun, and challenging Munchkin Mile, 5K, and Half Marathon. We offer an experience like no other that people of all fitness levels will enjoy! 2019 marks the 6th Annual Oz Run. It will take place on October 12th, 2019 at the Northern Wisconsin State Fairgrounds.
Fans of L. Frank Baum’s "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz" will enjoy the Oz inspired decorations and beautiful scenery in Irvine Park. Emerald City awaits triumphant finishers, where we’ll celebrate with music, food and drink. Munchkin Land has a petting zoo, face painting, and games for the kids. Awards will be given for the fastest runners and winners of the Oz themed Costume Contest for 5K and Half Marathon participants!
This year, The Oz Run is partnering with the Chippewa Valley After Hours Rotary Club for the event. The CVAH Rotary Club will be a beneficiary of the race, in addition to Irvine Park. The CVAH Rotary Club's goal is to eradicate hungry in the Chippewa Valley. The money donated to Irvine Park will go towards food for the animals in the zoo.
